Maryland dominates Illinois on the road

The third-ranked Maryland Women's Basketball squad easily defeated Illinois 94-49 at the Land Farm Center in Champaign, Illinois on Thursday night.
The Terps were dominant throughout the game. They started the game with an 18-4 lead thank you to a 14-0 run early on. Maryland was doubling upwards the Illini by halftime with a score of 44-22.
A large reason for Maryland'south success on Thursday was their balance. Just ii players finished in double-figures, but they yet scored 94 points. The ii players to score in double figures were the usual suspects: Shatori-Walker Kimbrough and Brionna Jones.
Kimbrough about had a double-double, as she finished with 14 points and nine rebounds. Jones contributed 11 points and five boards.
